Why Telegram, specifically

Most "Telegram AI bots" are a thin chat wrapper around a generic language model — good for questions, useless for actually managing anything. The practical consequence is that a confirmation is worth reading. When Jarvi says an event is booked, it exists on the calendar app on your phone, shared with whoever that calendar is shared with. When something cannot be done, it says so instead of producing a fluent description of an action that never happened — which is the specific failure mode that makes most chat assistants unusable for anything that matters.

It also distinguishes between kinds of overlap, which matters more than it sounds. A meeting nested inside a four-hour study block is almost always intentional. A meeting that half-overlaps another meeting almost never is. Treating both as errors produces an assistant that interrogates you constantly; Jarvi learns which nesting patterns you have already approved on a given block and stops asking about that block again.

Memory that outlasts the chat window

Most assistants forget in two ways at once: the context window scrolls, and nothing is written down. Jarvi keeps a persistent daily record and a long-term fact store, so "what did I decide about pricing last month" is a lookup rather than a guess. Facts you mention in passing — an allergy, a recurring commitment, who a name refers to — stay available months later without you having filed them anywhere.
